CPA offers a complete analysis, design and detailing services for application and selection of pipe support, restraint devices and structural members.
This activity offers a wide range of design capabilities in the field of pipe support drawings. Our staff consists of experienced engineers and designers who have handled various National and International projects. The main task of the group is the selection of location, function of the supports, complete design and the preparation of the final installation drawings.
Full Design Package – CPA is able to undertake a comprehensive design and detail service for a wide range of Pipe Support systems associated with the Power Generation, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, LNG, Renewables and related industries.
Typical of information required from the client would be:
- Pipe work General Arrangement Drawings or 3D Plant CD
- Steelwork General Arrangement Drawings or 3D Plant CD
- Piping Specifications
From the details, CPA would calculate and provide:
- Support Positions
- Support Loads and Movements (Should C&P undertake stress analysis)
- Support Designs both 2D and 3D.
- Fully detailed design drawings
- Material take off lists
Detailed Design Package – In the event of a hardware scope of supply, CPA is able to provide the detailed design of the Pipe Support assemblies from the clients’ initial design information.
In this instance, we would expect the client to provide the following information:
- Pipe Support Conceptual Design
- Support Loads and Movements
- Support Positions
- Piping Specifications
From this information, we would provide fully detailed engineering drawings of each support, complete with material lists.
