CPA designs and manufactures pipe supporting equipment for petrochemical plants that convert natural resources such as crude oil, natural gas, ores and minerals into products for a wide range of applications. These plants produce many important building blocks for industry processes, including ethylene, propylene, butadiene, and aromatics.
CPA’s products are specifically engineered to support the piping systems within plants carrying out any of these processes.
Long Son Petrochemicals Complex is an integrated petroleum and chemical complex constructed in Long Son Island of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Vietnam. Commissioned in 2023, it is the first integrated petrochemical complex in the country. The Long Son Refinery will have a capacity of 200,000 barrels a day. Annual output also includes 1.4 MMtpy of plastic resins, 500,000 tpy of high-density polyethylene, 500,000 tpy of linear low density polyethylene and 400,000 tpy of polypropylene.

The refinery and petrochemical integrated development (RAPID) project and other associated facilities are part of the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) in Pengerang, Southern Johor, Malaysia.
The RAPID Pengerang project refinery is designed to produce gasoline and diesel that meet Euro 4 and Euro 5 fuel specifications. It also supplies feedstock for the petrochemical complex, which creates highly specialised chemicals. The refinery uses modern technologies to develop these products and follows stringent environmental regulations.

BMP’s objectives are to increase refining capacity, enhance the product slate, improve the energy efficiency, and emerge as one of the most competitive and environmentally compliant refineries in the region.
The programme will increase refinery crude capacity by 42% from 267000 barrels per day (bpd) to 380,000 bpd. Also, Resid Hydrockracking unit is designed to convert 78% of lower grade feedstock into distillates which will then be refined into high-margin diesel and kerosene.

This Olefins Modifications Project, designed to enhance PTT Global Chemical’s feedstock flexibility and long-term competitiveness, involved the construction of new facilities to change the main composition of existing feedstock from ethane to propane to increase propylene production. Specifically, it involved the construction of a ‘C3 Splitter’ and an additional distillation tower reaching more than 100 meters.

The J3 complex of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) comprises the world’s largest coke gasification complex and petrochemical plants. The Jamnagar project, known as J3, was undertaken to increase production capacity of ethylene and other petroleum products at the complex. This includes expansion of Jamnagar’s gasification plants, ethylene cracker complex, and paraxylene plant. CPA supplied cryogenic supports as part of this project.

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL)’s Jamnagar Refinery Off-Gas cracker complex is the largest in the world – with a 1.5 mtpa capacity along with downstream plants and utilities.
The ROGC complex is a core component of RIL’s J3 project at its integrated refinery-petrochemicals complex at Jamnagar. The ROGC complex has a unique configuration as it uses off-gases from RIL’s two refineries at
Jamnagar as feedstock.

The Ultra Clean Fuel Project, located in Thailand’s “Eastern Economic Corridor” has been developed in line with the Thai government’s policy to implement Euro V standards by January 2024. The new project seeks to improve refinery efficiency, raise diesel quality to Euro V standard, and reduce fine particle pollution in the air (PM 2.5).

Basrah Refinery Upgrading Project involves the construction of a new fluid contact cracking unit, depressurization distillation unit, and light oil desulfurization unit, and other work.
