Zuluf field is a giant offshore oil field located in the Arabian Gulf, approximately 240km north of Dhahran. The Zuluf expansion, called Zuluf AH Increment Central Processing Facilities, is a key element of Saudi Arabia’s strategy to increase its crude production capacity to 13 million bpd by 2027 and maintain its position as the world’s largest oil exporter.
The Package 1 expansion involves onshore processing facilities including two gas-oil separation plant trains, each with a capacity of 300,000 bpd of oil, plus two gas compression trains and wet crude handling facilities, one person said.
Package 2 comprises water-injection pumps, a water-oil separation plant, a hot oil system, electrical and non-electrical utilities, plus other associated facilities.

The Maui natural gas field is the largest gas, natural gas condensate and oil field in New Zealand, producing nearly three-quarters of the country’s hydrocarbons, as well as providing energy for electricity generation.
There exists a collection of 16 plans for the development of Maui gas field, including offshore platform Maui A and pipelines, by Shell BP Todd Oil Services Ltd.

The Gallaf project belongs to the Al-Shaheen field, located off the coast of Qatar. Al-Shaheen is Qatar’s largest offshore oil field and one of the largest offshore oil fields in the world.

The first phase of the field development involved installation of a new central processing platform (CPP) called Golden Star at the Sao Vang field. The FPSO Guanabara MV31 is deployed for operations in the Mero (formerly Libra) field operated by Petrobras. The FPSO is capable of processing 180,000 barrels of crude oil, 424 million standard cubic feet of gas and 225,000 barrels of water injection per day, and has storage capacity of 1,400,000 barrels of crude oil. The FPSO is designed to reinject 100% of the processed gas back into the oil well.

P-79 is an FPSO that will operate in the Búzios field, the world’s largest deepwater oil field, approximately 200km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
The FPSO vessel will allow initial separation of gas from the oil extracted in the deep offshore reservoir and will have a production capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 7.2 million cubic metres of (mcbm) gas per day, with a storage capacity of two million barrels of oil.

Developed by Petronas, the Kasawari gas development project is located in the South China Sea, offshore Sarawak, Malaysia.
The field is estimated to contain 3.2 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of natural gas resources. It is expected to produce 900 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) of gas and 3.5 million barrels of condensate per day commencing from 2023.

The Rosmari-Marjoram sour gas field development will include offshore infrastructure and an onshore gas treatment plant in Bintulu, Sarawak.

The Rosmari-Marjoram development forms the first phase of the Sarawak Integrated Sour Gas Evacuation System (SISGES) project.

The Bacalhau FPSO will be deployed at the Bacalhau field in the BM-S-8 and Carcará North blocks, 185 km off the coast of São Paulo, Brazil.
The FPSO is one of the largest ever delivered to Brazil. It has a large topside designed to produce up to 220,000 barrels of crude oil per day, produce and inject up to 530 million standard cubic feet of associated gas per day and inject up to 200,000 barrels of seawater per day. Its minimum storage capacity of crude oil will be 2,000,000 barrels.

The Almirate Barroso is the 5th FPSO deployed at the Búzios field. The FPSO achieved the first oil in May 2023.
