U-bolts, U-bolts, U-bolts!

CPA is supplying 6,000 insulated U-bolts to an offshore grid connection system in Europe which connects directly to offshore wind turbines.

The insulating/isolating material is a synthetic rubber which strong, resilient, and achieves an extremely high performance in the reduction of noise and vibration in pipework. It also has an outstanding resistance to a wide range of chemicals (including acids, alkalis, fats, oils, greases and solvents). Furthermore, it has advantageous physical properties including tear and abrasion resistance, ozone and weathering.

In these video, the u-bolts are being wrapped and packed in preparation for shipment.
