CPA HOT SHOES INSTALLED AT SITE IN MALAYSIA

CPA has recently supplied large pre-insulated pipe shoes (or ‘Hot Shoes’) to a Petrochemical plant in Malaysia.

The Hot Shoes are designed to support 48″ piping reaching temperatures up to 455c.

The Hot Shoes incorporate calcium silicate as an effective load-bearing and heat-insulating medium.

Specially designed by our engineering team, the Hot Shoes accommodate high vertical, lateral, and axial loads.

Here are photos of the Hot Shoes installed at site – in this case, installation was performed whilst the piping was hot.
